Business Smartphone Deals

When I started this blog, there weren't that many cell phones and even fewer wireless plans that were geared toward business use. When I thought of business cell phone plans, I thought of any available smartphone from a major carrier that would fit in with a plan that included calls, text, data, and web.

Now things are almost the opposite, with many smartphones on the market with business oriented features. Many of these cell phones are mass marketed toward individual users and have a lot of features. If anything it's more difficult to get a non-smartphone. Whether you want an iPhone, BlackBerry, Android, Windows or some other smartphone, most carriers feature at least a couple doze types. These phones often require a data plan with the contract. So in many ways you are pretty much good to go.

AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, and Nextel all have multiple all-inclusive plans and phones that fit. If you have a very small business, you might benefit from a family plan type set-up, which allows you up to 5 phones on one plan. These plans can allow many minutes with unlimited text and per unit data plans.
